Chef Recipe Tips:

  • It is preferable to soften the pasta by soaking it in cold water rather than cooking it. The pasta will fully cook when combined with the meat and sauce.
  • Before eating, you can drizzle sesame oil over the dish to add extra flavor.

How to Store the Dish?

To store glass noodles with chicken, allow the dish to cool completely at room temperature before transferring to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. If you want to store the dish for a longer time, you can freeze it. Once cooled, transfer the dish to a freezer-safe container or to a resealable freezer bag. To prevent freezer burn, be sure to remove as much air as possible. Label and date the container and freeze it for up to 2-3 months.

This dish is a wonderful option for a full, healthy lunch. A balanced combination of high-quality proteins, fats, and carbohydrates will nourish the body and provide an energy boost for several hours. This dish is suitable for both a weight loss program and for muscle mass gain (by the way, it's a great lunch option after a good strength training session). For muscle building, it can also be a good dinner option. However, monitor how your body reacts to eating meat (even poultry) in the evening, as these are heavy foods for our digestion at night when the body is preparing to rest. If you feel heaviness, I recommend avoiding meat for dinner and choosing more easily digestible proteins such as eggs, low-fat cheese, seafood, or fish for your dinners.
