If you happen to know someone from Buffalo, then chances are they know someone who has revealed to them the secret ingredients used in making Anchor Bar's renowned Buffalo chicken wings. I happen to have acquaintances from Buffalo and this is my own take on the Buffalo sauce recipe. It was described to me many years ago, over the course of several beers.

⅔ cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
½ cup cold unsalted butter
1 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
