Singapore Sling Cocktail
It's quite difficult to comment on any alcoholic cocktail from a healthy eating perspective because based on all authoritative studies in the field of dietetics, the only absolutely safe dose of alcohol is zero. In addition: besides the completely empty calories found in any alcohol (by the way, pure alcohol is more caloric than carbohydrates. There are only 4 calories in one gram of carbohydrates, while there are 7 calories in one gram of alcohol), this cocktail also contains a significant amount of simple carbohydrates, or in simpler terms - sugar. Therefore, I cannot find even a drop of benefit in this and all similar drinks, no matter how hard I try.
Fill a Collins glass with 1 cup ice and place in the freezer.
Combine pineapple juice, gin, cherry-flavored brandy, lime juice, grenadine, triple sec, and Bénédictine in a cocktail shaker. Add 1 cup ice, cover, and shake until chilled. Strain into the prepared Collins glass.
Garnish with pineapple slice and cherry.
